Speciality Dr. Parinitha gained experience in Paediatric Oncology, Haematology, Intensive care and Bone Marrow Transplantation from leading institutes like Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children which is one of the best and oldest Children’s hospitals in the World, Royal Marsden Hospital which is one of the World’s oldest Cancer Institutes. She returned to India in 2013 with a vision to improve the standards of care for children suffering from blood disorders and cancers. She has helped in improving the level of care immensely and incorporated up-to date evidence in treating many children with various cancers and blood disorders with good results. She successfully set up state of the art comprehensive care services for children with Thalassemia which is one of its kind in India.

She has done postgraduate training in Paediatrics in the U.K. for 3 years and obtained MRCPCH. She has then underwent a structured higher Specialist training program for 5 years in various Paediatric sub specialties in the U.K. leading to CCT. Her area of interest is curable malignancies, Thalassemia.
Awards Mentor – for DNB thesis on “Iron Quantification by MRI in Thalassemia”. Dr. Parinitha had been actively involved in recruiting patients for clinical trials during her training at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
